How to Meet your Spirit Guide and Spirit Animal Meditation Hypnosis

How to meet your spirit guide with Hypnosis

Many people have asked me "what is a spirit guide?" and "how do i discover my spirit guide?" which are both excellent questions if you too are learning to harness and develop your own inner psychic powers. A spirit guide acts as a medium between you and 'the other side' in much the same way as a Ouija board, pendulum or dowsing rods can be used to relay information from spirits. Rather than using a physical tool a Psychic or medium who is in contact with a spirit guide can receive clairvoyant messages at any time.

Many mediums and psychics describe their spirit guide as an entity or spirit which acts as a guide or protector over their soul. A spirit guide can take many forms and is unique to each individual. Your spirit guide could be an old family member who has passed away, a significant figure from history such as Abraham Lincoln or Pythagoras, theres nothing that says your spirit guide even has to be human! The notion of spirit guides are not something new its a phenomena that has been recorded across many cultures and times. The Native Americans, Chinese and Egyptians all have examples of spirit beings and mystical guides in their folk lore.

The Native Americans for example would embark on a spiritual journey known as a 'Vision Quest' where a teenager or someone approaching 'manhood' would enter the woods and be deprived of food and water in an attempt to achieve an altered state of consciousness in order to encounter and interact with the spirit world. In the case of Native Americans this spirit guide or totem would usually come in the form of an animal, known as a Power Animal. Each power animal guide has a different skill and representing different supernatural abilities which would then be transferred to you, so you could be strong and powerful like a bear or cunning like a fox.

Often a medicine man or shaman would use hallucinogenic drugs such as mescal, peyote cactus, thorn apple, psilocybin mushroom, green tobacco, jimsonweed and devil's weed to achieve these spirit visions. This again is a common experience in the ancient world, of 'tripping balls' and 'becoming a man'. I have a way that you can meet you spirit guide, a way for you to discover your spirit guide in a way which isn't harmful to your brain, you can meet your spirit guardian without having to take illegal drugs or starving yourself in a field somewhere. We know through our studies that achieving these kinds of altered states can be achieved through a number of methods. Clairvoyant visions can occur in meditation, prayer, lucid dreaming and even hypnosis.

Please try the guided meditation / hypnosis session at the top of the page and you too can discover your spirit guide. I would love to hear about your experience? Did it work for you? What form did your spirit guide take? Please head over to the forum and join in the discussion:

Investigating Psychic Yogis: Achieve Siddhi Conscioussness and UNLOCK PSYCHIC POWERS

Here in the West, J.B. Rhine and Karl Zener demonstrated the existence of Extrasensory Perception in the 1930s under laboratory conditions. However in the East, the gurus and mystics in far off lands such as India and China have possessed this knowledge for over a  thousand years.

The Psychic Investigations model requires that we study the processes and methods used by those who can demonstrate Psychical abilities. Whilst India was under British rule stories would flood back to England of these wise men in loin cloths with 'special abilities' such as levitation, clairvoyance and telekinesis. For hundreds of years these tales were told and the mystics gained great fame.

These mystical Yogis would meditate all day, for weeks, months, and even years in the forests or in the mountains, all in the quest to achieve what they called 'Siddhi Consciousness' or 'Siddhi Awareness'. Once this state was achieved the Yogis were able to demonstrate these extrasensory abilities. So, what is Siddhi Consciousness? How do I achieve Siddhi Consciousness? All great questions.

I think the answer lies in China. You see there is an incredible over lap in what the Indian and Chinese cultures believe about how the body works. For example Prana, the Indian word for internal energy or life force, is the same concept as the Chinese notion of Chi. An energy which flows through your Chakras (Indian) or Dantiens (Chinese) and can be harnessed through exercise and meditation. Whilst the Indians practice meditation to achieve this 'Siddhi Consciousness' the Chinese do it in the quest for Enlightenment. Could these two be the same thing?

Siddhi Consciousness is when all your energies are balanced and pure, when your third eye chakra has been fully opened and you are able to channel your energy in a way which allows you access to a higher realm of knowledge. You will be able to sense things you could not before, be in tune with the life force, know things you could not know and move matter with your mind.

The Gurus used Yoga as a way to meditate and regulate their energy flow. The positions they used in their exercises would unlock any issues and allow the Prana to flow freely through their body. The way in which you position your body has a direct effect on your brain chemistry and ergo your biological responses.

The Chinese use an exercise known as Qi Gong. This exercise is still practiced many millions of people in China who report great health benefits as well as spiritual ones. Qi Gong teaches you how to direct your psychic energy around your body using non strenuous exercise. Its very similar to Kung Fu or Tai Chi in a physical sense, yet like Yoga and mediation in a more esoteric way, both relaxing and spiritually rewarding.

My personal experience with Qi Gong has been very positive. I picked up a few moves from the great Ken Cohen and I use them daily in my routine. Qi Gong really helps with directing your energy before the release part in 'How to Develop Telekinesis: Lesson Two' where you actually knock over the target object. I know many of you have been struggling with the release part so I would suggest you practice some Qi Gong until you understand how to move the energy around in your body.

Please try this and leave a comment about how it made you feel!

On studying the Yogi phenomenon and the quest to achieve Siddhi consciousness I was reminded once again that meditation is an absolutey most important part of developing your mental abilities. Time and time again, each case we look at Meditation is a common denominator, from Edgar Cayces trance like visions, to Nostradamus scrying in a water bowl.

Astral Projection How to Astral Travel and the Ashakic Record

In recent weeks many people have been sending me questions about astral projection, what is astral projection and how can we project ourselves into the astral plane. The notion of Astral travel is that it is possible to separate the astral body, spirit, or soul or whatever you want to call it from the physical body and travel any where across space and time.

In modern society we associate this with out-of-body experiences (OBE) and near death experiences. We've all heard stories about people who were in hospital and felt themselves leave their physical bodies and found themselves looking down on themselves in third person. This kind of phenomena has been proved to exist.

The Stamford Research Institute did experiments of this kind with Ingo Swann, Uri Geller and the like for decades. We also know from our research into Edgar Cayce, The Order of the Golden Dawn and Madame Blavatsky that they used this method of Astral Travel to visit what the Hindus and Tibetan monks call the Ashakic Record.

Its a phenomenon that has been recorded in cultures all around the world, from Ancient Egypt, India, the far east; China and Japan, to Eskimos and Native Americans. The Japanese describe it as "a manifestation of the soul of a living person separately from their body." Which I feel sums the whole idea up nicely.
But how to do Astral Travel? Well we know that these kinds of experiences can be induced through sleep and dreams, illness, surgical operations, drug experiences, trance work, sleep paralysis, hypnosis and forms of meditation. We also know that Cayce, Nostradamus, Blavatsky, the Tibetan Monks Ingo Swann and the remote viewing research team at SRI used meditation and trance work to induce this state.

SRI ploughed millions of dollars of into Psychic Research for over twenty years

I have tried to Astral Travel in the past and have done many remote viewing exercises. The problem with these though, is that while i am able to produce detailed accounts of the things I saw in these astral visions it is difficult to rate the accuracy of my results.

I have proposed a simple experiment to test whether Astral Projection is possible.

A group of volunteers will meet up in a set location in the Astral World. Every person involved will bring one item with them. It doesn't have to be something they own, its the astral world, they can bring whatever they like. If they can visualize it then they can bring it. The next day the group will report any feelings or ideas that they picked up from the night before.

All participants before beginning should do this exercise:
1. Sit with your back straight and your hands face up in your lap.
2. Breathe in a Pranayama style: breathe with your diaphragm rather than your lungs.
3. Relax your facial muscles and jaw, let your mouth hang open.
4. Visualize a bright white light surrounding your heart
5. Visualize this white light getting bigger and bigger until it engulfs your entire body and forms a protection white light shield around you. Allow its warmth to engulf your entire body, from head to toe.
6. Imagine a staircase in front of you and visualize your astral body walking up those stairs while your physical body remains in place.
7. Focus on the days location. Observe everything, all detail. Look around and use all seven senses.

I would suggest doing this just before going to bed. Don't worry if you fall asleep while doing this. Lucid dreaming and sleeping have been shown to be useful in Astral Projection and allowing your subconscious to think further on the experience can only be a good thing.

Be sure to take notes on what you have seen in the morning.

Guide to Interpreting Dream Explanations / Edgar Cayce and The Quest for the Dream Dictionary.

As well as the abilities to see the future in his own precognitive dreams, The multi talented 'American Prophet' Edgar Cayce was able to interpret dreams of others. Cayce was able to tell predict peoples future based on the content of their dreams. Cayce argued that the unconscious mind has access to information that the conscious mind does not.

Carl Jung would certainly agree with Cayce that the unconscious mind was able to relay messages to the conscious mind whilst in a dream state and that images and symbols in the dream could represent things from the dreamers past, present or future. Jung argued that there was a single conscious 'higher mind' which could be what Cayce referred to as the Ashakic record. Jung also responsible for the concept of Synchronicity.

He wrote this short guide on how to see the future in a subconscious state.
  • Keep a notebook beside the bed. Record your dreams as soon as possible after waking.
  • Suggest to yourself every night as you fall asleep, “I will remember my dreams.”
  • If you wake during the night, write down the main symbols, and the entire dream will usually come back in the morning.
  • Practice keen observation in your dreams through self-suggestion prior to sleep.
  • Look for these components in your dreams: the setting, the people, the action, the color, the feeling, and the words.
  • Work on analyzing your dreams every day, otherwise their progression will be difficult to assess.
  • If dreams are illogical, three reasons are possible: (1) Only the fragments of the dream have been recalled.(2)The dream is reflecting something illogical in the dreamer’s life. (3) Mental blocks have erased your recall.
  • If you are unable to decipher an important dream, suggest to yourself, before your next sleep, that the dream repeat itself more clearly.
  • Nightmares, which bring with them an inability to move or cry out, usually indicate the wrong diet. To end the nightmarish dreams change your diet.
  • Dreams that are unchanged through the years indicate the dreamer’s resistance to change.
  • Dreams of ill health can be either literal or symbolic warnings.
  • When a problem confronts you, ask by prayer for guidance to be sent to you through your dreams.
  • Be practical in your interpretations. Always look first for a lesson. What have you refused to face or been ignoring?
  • Observe carefully recurrent dreams, as well as the serially progressive ones. These often illustrate progress or failure.
  • Dreams are the reaction of the inner self to daytime activity and often show the way out of the dilemma. So relate them to current activity, because dreams may be retrospective as well as prospective.
  • Dreams come to guide and help, not to amuse. They direct your attention to errors of omission and commission and offer encouragement for right endeavors. They also give us the opportunity to pray for others and to help them bear their burdens.
  • If you receive an unusual message, reduce it to common terms. See if the symbolism can be of help in interpreting the dream.
  • Look for past-life experiences in your dreams. These manifest themselves not only in color, but in the proper costume and setting of their period. They come to warn you against repeating the same old mistakes; to explain your relationship and reactions to certain people and places; to reduce your confusions; to enable you to better understand life.
  • Do not fear conversation with the so-called “dead” in dreams. If the communication is one-sided, it denotes telepathy. If both participate, it may be an actual encounter of bodiless consciousness.
  • Dreams are primarily about self. Only a few dreams relate to family, friends, and world events.
  • Watch for mental telepathy in dreams.
  • Remember, persistence is necessary to learn any new language, and dream symbols are the forgotten language of the subconscious.
  • Give daily thanks to God the universe for all things and use daily prayer to improve the quality and reception of your dreams.
