SCRYING: What is Scrying and How to do it SEE THE FUTURE

Nostradamus was able to see the future using scrying.

Scrying is an ancient form of divination where a clairvoyant psychic or medium enters a trance like state of consciousness whilst staring at an object such as a crystal ball or a black mirror. By staring in to the object a person is able to divine previously unavailable information, across space and time, to literally see the future, sometimes in the form of visions and other times in cryptic clues.

Obviously there are many advantages to being able to see into the future. Imagine it now, how would you use the clairvoyant ability? Maybe to see next lottery numbers? I wouldn't blame you as its one of the first things that I tried too!

Scrying is a way of inducing your clairvoyant abilities. This is a great way to develop your clairvoyance and will help you to grow your psychic abilities. Those people who are more visually minded will have more success at this exercise as it taps into the visual areas of the mind. I have received auditory messages using scrying but they are much rarer.

This method has been used for centuries though out time but was first bought to my attention by the legendary Michel de Nostradame or as we know him Nostradamus.

The French clairvoyant was one of the most famous psychics in history. Living in France during the 16th century he gained fame through his 'quatrains' a series of prophetic visions. He was able to induce a deep trance like state and make predictions about future events, including the fall of Napoleon, Hurricane Katrina and many more. Rather than using a crystal ball Nostradamus would fill a small bowl with boiling water and gaze at its surface.

1. Sit with your back straight and your hands face up in your lap.
2. Pour a kettle full of boiling water into a bowl.
3. Place a towel over your head and position your face above the bowl.
4. Breathe in a Pranayama style: breathe with your diaphragm rather than your lungs.
5. Relax your facial muscles and jaw, let your mouth hang open.
6. Watch the steam, ripples and movenments of the water.
7. Notice any sensations that you feel as you enter a trance like state.
8. Record any ideas or images you may have sensed during the process.

This Scrying method looks kind of like this.

I myself have been using this method to receive clairvoyant images and prophecies about the future which I have been recording in a book. In each sitting I am able to divine around three new prophecies about the future. Usually the images which I see in this process are harrowing ones and voices I hear tell me terrible things. I have tried to 'steer' the experience to more positive visions with little success. Those of you who followed my Lucid Dreaming experiment will know that the same thing happened.

How come whenever I have visions of the future they always reflect the destructive nature of life?

Astral Projection How to Astral Travel and the Ashakic Record

In recent weeks many people have been sending me questions about astral projection, what is astral projection and how can we project ourselves into the astral plane. The notion of Astral travel is that it is possible to separate the astral body, spirit, or soul or whatever you want to call it from the physical body and travel any where across space and time.

In modern society we associate this with out-of-body experiences (OBE) and near death experiences. We've all heard stories about people who were in hospital and felt themselves leave their physical bodies and found themselves looking down on themselves in third person. This kind of phenomena has been proved to exist.

The Stamford Research Institute did experiments of this kind with Ingo Swann, Uri Geller and the like for decades. We also know from our research into Edgar Cayce, The Order of the Golden Dawn and Madame Blavatsky that they used this method of Astral Travel to visit what the Hindus and Tibetan monks call the Ashakic Record.

Its a phenomenon that has been recorded in cultures all around the world, from Ancient Egypt, India, the far east; China and Japan, to Eskimos and Native Americans. The Japanese describe it as "a manifestation of the soul of a living person separately from their body." Which I feel sums the whole idea up nicely.
But how to do Astral Travel? Well we know that these kinds of experiences can be induced through sleep and dreams, illness, surgical operations, drug experiences, trance work, sleep paralysis, hypnosis and forms of meditation. We also know that Cayce, Nostradamus, Blavatsky, the Tibetan Monks Ingo Swann and the remote viewing research team at SRI used meditation and trance work to induce this state.

SRI ploughed millions of dollars of into Psychic Research for over twenty years

I have tried to Astral Travel in the past and have done many remote viewing exercises. The problem with these though, is that while i am able to produce detailed accounts of the things I saw in these astral visions it is difficult to rate the accuracy of my results.

I have proposed a simple experiment to test whether Astral Projection is possible.

A group of volunteers will meet up in a set location in the Astral World. Every person involved will bring one item with them. It doesn't have to be something they own, its the astral world, they can bring whatever they like. If they can visualize it then they can bring it. The next day the group will report any feelings or ideas that they picked up from the night before.

All participants before beginning should do this exercise:
1. Sit with your back straight and your hands face up in your lap.
2. Breathe in a Pranayama style: breathe with your diaphragm rather than your lungs.
3. Relax your facial muscles and jaw, let your mouth hang open.
4. Visualize a bright white light surrounding your heart
5. Visualize this white light getting bigger and bigger until it engulfs your entire body and forms a protection white light shield around you. Allow its warmth to engulf your entire body, from head to toe.
6. Imagine a staircase in front of you and visualize your astral body walking up those stairs while your physical body remains in place.
7. Focus on the days location. Observe everything, all detail. Look around and use all seven senses.

I would suggest doing this just before going to bed. Don't worry if you fall asleep while doing this. Lucid dreaming and sleeping have been shown to be useful in Astral Projection and allowing your subconscious to think further on the experience can only be a good thing.

Be sure to take notes on what you have seen in the morning.

Famous Psychics from History

In this article we are going to look at some of the most famous psychics that have ever lived. History is littered with famous psychics and stories about people with psychic powers can be found in a wide variety of cultures around the world. From ancient Babylon, Egypt, and Greece to Aborigines, Native Americans and Haitian Voodoo we can find stories of psychic feats from people who can see the future to people who can speak to the dead.

One of the earliest mentioned can be found in the bible. The story tells of a man named Joseph, who had what was known as a dream coat. In the story there are many examples of Joseph experiencing precognitive dreams and being able to predict the future. In his dream state he was able to see clues regarding the future. Some times these came in an abstract form and needed to be deciphered. His precognitive dreams included one showing the sun, moon, and eleven stars bowing down to him. He later went on to become a chief adviser for the Pharaoh of Egypt of that time.

In fact the bible has many references to psychics, for example Saul visited a spirit medium in order to contact the deceased former King Samuel. His advisers found him a woman medium who was able to summon the spirit of Samuel and communicate with him 'on the other side'. She was able to relay information from one to the other.

Psychics can also be found in ancient Greek literature, such as the story of Cassandra. She was a beautiful woman who refused the have sex with the God Apollo. He then cursed her with the ability to see the future. She foresaw the destruction of Troy (she warned the Trojans about the Trojan Horse, the death of Agamemnon, and her own demise.) However she was unable to do anything to forestall these tragedies since no one believed her prophecies.

In those days Psychics were a lot more respected than they are these days and often found themselves in import roles in the society. Nostradamus, the French clairvoyant was also an official adviser to Queen Catherine de Medici and famously told the queen that all of her sons would be kings but that she would herself outlive them all. This turned out to be true in every case but one.

Another famous psychic from history is Clairvoyant and spiritualist medium Madame Helena Blavatsky. Born in 1831 in Soviet Russia, Blavatsky after traveling the world, would eventually go on to establish a research and publishing institute called the Theosophical Society. Blavatsky defined Theosophy as "the archaic Wisdom-Religion, the esoteric doctrine once known in every ancient country having claims to civilization." She gained fame as spirit medium who was able to connect to the spirit realm and relay information from the other side. This included a bold prediction that the atom could be split, a theory widely lampooned in her time.

Edgar Cayce was an American psychic, in the in the late 1800s and early 1900s, who allegedly possessed the ability to answer questions on subjects as varied as healing and wars, and had visions of the world ending. He would famously lie at the bottom of his bed in a "hypnotic like state" and dictate his prophecies. It was done in such a fashion because Cayce said he generally would not remember what he had said while in this state. His predictions are numerous and many of his prophecies have been exacted.

The final Psychic we are going to take a look at in this article is Nina Kulagina, she rather than helping a royal figure found her self working with the Soviet Union and the KGB. During the Cold War, silent black-and-white films of Russian psychic Nina Kulagina performing feats of telekinesis, appearing to move objects on a table with her mind, were produced. The film was recorded under controlled conditions by Soviet authorities. She's pretty bad ass and once she stopped the beating heart of a frog. Damn. That's against the second rule of Telekinesis. Never use your powers on living creatures!

There are countless examples of Famous psychics in history. As long as people have been writing they have been recording the accounts of mystics, soothsayers and prophets. From ancient Egypt to the modern day the ability to communicate with the other side and to see into the future has fascinated all of us.
